Ashley lives in public housing. They require that she submit all of her medical expenses. Being that her cannabinoid medications are a significant part of her expenses, she included them. The housing authority used this to issue her and eviction notice.
Fortunately for all disabled cannabis users, Ashley fought for her rights and set a national precedent.
